European Digital Innovation Hub TRAKIA
DIH Trakia, estabilsihed in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in 2021, brings together Academia, SMEs, public administrations and branch associations such as the Hub’s coordinator – Union for Private Economic Enterprise (UPEE), member of ECSO, in order to bridge the gap in the digitalization sphere in Bulgaria.
DIH Trakia focuses on providing access to cybersecurity expertise on regional, national and European levels through its established connections and memberships in the country and abroad. DIH Trakia is a contractual partner of the EEN Network. It is also a founding member of the European Corridor of Cybersecurity EDIHs, currently a thematic working group, led by the European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO), under the European Network of Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH Network).
DIH Trakia relies on the academic and innovation support of its integral parts – the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Institute for Information and Communication Technologies (BAS-IICT), and the Bulgarian Cybersecurity Association (BCA).
The regional government in the face of Plovdiv Municipality is a vital part of DIH Trakia as a bridge between the local administration, businesses and Academia.
