The Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics – BASEL was established in 1994 and represents the interests of 109 companies from the electrical, electronic and related industries in Bulgaria – a high-tech sector with a rich and dynamic portfolio and a serious contribution to the technological progress and export potential of the Bulgarian economy. Based on the exchange of experience and opinions between members, BASEL develops positions on current technical, economic, legal and socio-political issues in the field of the electrical industry. BASEL supports the competitiveness of its members through a wide range of services. The Association maintains a strong network of partnerships in Bulgaria and abroad that contribute to the realisation of its objectives. As the national representative organisation of the electrical industry in Bulgaria, BASEL is party to the dialogue with the social partners on negotiations concerning the industry.
