The two hubs will cooperate in providing services
On 22 April 2025, we finalised the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Spanish Smart, Sustainable and coheSive Digitalization (DIGIS³) European Digital Innovation Hub. The agreement is the result of many years of cooperation. Cyber4ALLSTAR/ EDIH Trakia has already signed eight cooperation agreements with other EDIHs and organisations.
Smart, Sustainable and coheSive Digitalization European Digital Innovation Hub (DIGIS³) is coordinated by AIR INSTITUTE and supported by the Regional Government of Castile and León. The Hub is a strategic alliance that combines 6 major complementary players in the region: ICE, as the PSO in charge of public investments, funding, and internationalisation of regional SMEs, with presence in all the provinces; IoTDIH, DIHBU and DIHLEAF, 3 fully operational DIHs, together with 13 affiliated entities; SCAYLE, as the regional centre for HPC; and ULe, as a reference competence centre in advanced digital skills.
Services, offered by the hub are Circular economy, Ecosystem building, Innovation management, Knowledge transfer, Prototyping, Public sector innovation, Regional development, Smart Specialisation strategies, SME support, Technological innovation и Technology transfer. DIGIS3 works in the tech domain of Artificial Intelligence & Decision support, High performance computing, Additive manufacturing, Internet of Things, Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, Digital twins, Robotics, Software Architectures и Quantum Technologies (computing/communication). Signing this partnership, EDIH Trakia’s clients will have access to all of them.
EDIH Trakia has already MoU with TDigital Tech EDIH, based in Hungary, but operated by the EIT Digital, the National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, EDIH AI5production from Austria, the National Cybersecurity Directorate of the Republic of Romania (DNSC), Future of Innovation Technologies European Digital Innovation Hub (FIT EDIH) from Romania, Digital Accelerator of Latvia and smartHEALTH from Greece.
