The European Digital Innovation Hub “Trakia”, UniBIT, FounderCentre, and Pleggi Ltd. are pleased to invite you to participate in the specialized consulting events “European Digital Innovation Day for Open Innovations” which will be held on November 13, 2025, at UniBIT and on November 24, 2025, at the Marinela Hotel, Vitosha Hall, Sofia.
The consulting events are aimed at start-ups and are part of the Startup Expo initiative, which connects founders, investors, and innovators. The main goal is to reach companies and raise awareness about cybersecurity, digitalization, and financing opportunities.
The event brings together experts from EDIH Trakia/Cyber4AllSTAR, students, lecturers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors to create conditions for innovative thinking, collaboration, and the realization of ideas. It is positioned as a platform for the exchange of ideas and practices, where participants do not listen to lectures but actively participate—asking questions, presenting concepts, discussing, and creating partnerships.
What to expect:
- Presentations on cyber risks, specifically aimed at start-ups
- Hackathon: “Innovation from Knowledge” – a practical format in which students and young entrepreneurs develop their ideas within 10 days.
- Exhibition for entrepreneurs – Startup Expo
- Workshops and master classes – thematic practical sessions led by experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and lecturers.
- Investing in the future – women in cybersecurity
- Consultations on grant funding and presentation of European Union-funded projects for technologies, tools, and projects that can accelerate and facilitate companies.
- Establishing partnerships and collaborations
- Consultations on risk and investment financing
- Demonstrations of cyber risks and scenarios for dealing with cyber attacks
- Free cyber risk assessment and risk management
- Entrepreneurial Science Conference
- Business forum and panel discussions – meetings between representatives of public institutions, business, and academia, focused on the real opportunities available to young people in Bulgaria and Europe.
The aim is to transfer knowledge from professionals to the academic environment and real business, to combine knowledge, innovation, and capital, to present European and international opportunities for financing and support for sustainability and digitization in entrepreneurship.
The target groups are young researchers, start-up entrepreneurs, investors, public institutions
The events are organized thanks to the CYBER4All STAR project, funded by the European Commission’s Digital Europe program and project No. BG16RFPR002-1.001-0003 under the PNIIDIT 2021-2027 program.
