The Center “Education for Democracy” is a non-governmental organization for public benefit, which contributes to the development of democratic citizenship and the promotion of democratic ideas and values through training, consultations, exchange of information and experience of municipalities in Bulgaria, civil society structures, state institutions, business, media and citizens. The Centre is a representative of the international initiative “Europe Direct” in Plovdiv and the region, a member of the EUROPE DIRECT network in Bulgaria, which in turn is part of a group of EUROPE DIRECT centres located throughout Europe. Thanks to these centres, citizens have access to Europe and can participate in debates on the future of the EU.

Bulgarian Union of Standardizers (BUS) is a non-governmental organization that supports the implementation and use of national and international standards in Bulgaria. By organizing trainings, seminars and conferences, BSS supports the improvement of the qualification of professionals in various industries. The organisation offers consultancy services, research activities and provides access to Bulgarian and foreign standards, aiming to improve the quality and competitiveness of business in the country.

The Bulgarian Association for Business Software Development (BABSD) is an organization that supports developers, distributors and users of business software in Bulgaria. The Association strives to protect the rights and interests of its members while promoting fair competition and professional development. BARBS actively works for the creation of an appropriate regulatory base that supports the development and use of business software in the country.

College of Safety and Security “St. George the Victorious” in Sofia offers professional training in the field of security and cyber security, with an emphasis on practical training. The college has launched new courses in cyber security and is participating in the initiative to create and list the profession of cyber security. The programmes cover disciplines such as tactical training, security technology and risk management to prepare professionals capable of meeting today’s challenges.

The European Digital Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector is an initiative aimed at supporting the construction industry in Bulgaria through the deployment of innovation and digital technologies. The main objective of the hub is to accelerate the digital transformation of the sector by providing access to new technologies, training and financing. The hub promotes sustainable practices, circular economy and increasing the competitiveness of companies. By collaborating with universities, research organisations and businesses, the Hub aims to build an ecosystem for innovation and sustainability in construction.

AgroHub.BG is a European digital innovation hub focused on the digital and green transformation of the agricultural sector in the South Central region of Bulgaria. The AgroDigiRise project offers a free integrated portfolio of services for farmers, SMEs and other actors in the agri-ecosystem, creating a platform for collaboration and innovation. With a core focus on precision agriculture and Industry 4.0 technologies, the hub facilitates innovation for more sustainable and modern agriculture. The project is coordinated by the Institute for Agrostrategies and Innovation.

The European Digital Innovation Hub (“EDIH”) “Zagore” supports innovation and digital transformation in the South East region of Bulgaria. With a focus on decarbonisation, green technologies, mechatronics and life science, the hub supports entrepreneurs and researchers through innovative projects and collaborations. Its main priorities are mechatronics and cleantech, as well as health and life science. The Zagorje EEC aims to build a sustainable economy and quality of life by becoming a hub for innovation in the region.
