The Foundation for the Development of Commercial Law was established to contribute to the development of commercial law scholarship, the understanding and knowledge of European Union law and European legal theory, the exchange of ideas and best practices among professionals, the enhancement of the competence and scientific potential of young lawyers, and the promotion of civil society dialogue with institutions and better governance. In order to achieve its objectives, the LRTF prepares analyses, concepts and expert opinions, carries out research and analytical activities, prepares publications of a scientific and scientific-applied nature, maintains information resources, holds seminars, conferences, forums and other activities for the exchange of scientific ideas and for training, implements projects in the field of justice, science and innovation, participates in public debates on legal acts and maintains dialogue with public institutions and NGOs with similar objectives.
