The National High School of Commerce in Plovdiv was founded in 1910 on the initiative of the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry4. This is one of the oldest and most prestigious vocational schools in Bulgaria, specializing in the field of economics and trade. The high school prepares personnel for the field of business, finance and trade, offering modern and quality education. NTG – Plovdiv has a long tradition and experience in teaching students in economic and commercial specialties, combining theoretical training with practical skills.

Vocational education in economic specialties
The National High School of Commerce in Plovdiv provides high-quality vocational education in economic and commercial specialties. The innovative element is the introduction of a new subject “Cybersecurity” in two classes of IX grade in the 2024/2025 school year in the specialties “Economic Informatics” and “E-Commerce”. The cybersecurity training will continue in X grade, covering technical, legal and organizational aspects of information security.

Extracurricular Activities for Talent Development
The high school offers a rich program of extracurricular activities to develop students’ abilities and talents. The innovative element is the participation in the project “Your Hour”, under which there are 18 groups for extracurricular activities in various thematic areas – art, science, digital competences, engineering and technology, programming, etc.
