The School of Domestic Technology in Plovdiv is a state non-specialized school within the meaning of Article 38, paragraph 1, item 3 and paragraph 2, item 2 of the UPEA, which provides secondary education and a degree of professional qualification. The educational process is carried out by a competent pedagogical team. Students from VIII to XII grade are trained in STEM professions with the following specialties.

Graduated students acquire the III degree of professional qualification “Technician in……….” in STEM professions, which are applied in business.
The specialties taught at the School of Domestic Technology are up-to-date, in line with the needs of business, with the modern requirements of technological development in the field.

In the School of Domestic Technology, we are planning to introduce an innovative subject “Cyber Security” for the students of XI and XII classes, specialties KTT, KM, OCS. To build on their knowledge, a curriculum is indispensable, which we are creating.
The students of Computer Networking, Optical Communication Systems, Computer Engineering and Technology are studying the subjects of Network Information Security and Information Security, but more in-depth and practically applicable knowledge and skills in the field of Cyber Security are required. The aim is to build critical thinking among the school community, the ability to analyse and evaluate information.

We are building a STEM Center in Natural Sciences and Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems to teach innovative, high-tech methods.
