The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in Bulgaria was established to support and develop public administration by providing quality training and consultancy. IPA’s mission is to improve the professionalism and effectiveness of civil servants by creating conditions for continuing professional development and lifelong learning.

The vision of the Institute is to be a leading organisation in the training and development of the civil service by providing innovative and contemporary programmes that meet the needs and requirements of the modern civil service.

IPA’s strategic objectives include:

1.Enhancing the competencies and skills of civil servants.

2.Introduction of modern methods and technologies in training and management.

3.Establishing networks and partnerships with other training institutions and organisations.

4. Improving the management and organization of the institute to better fulfill its mission.
